Today it’s a rather dreary morning in rural Pennsylvania and I’ll admit, I can’t wait until spring comes with its bright bursts of sunshine and even brighter subterranean bursts of yellows popping through the hardened winter soils. The daffodils are late!
But we don’t have to resign color to the weather, now do we? I see color in a happy smile, color in an outfit that pushes even the gloomiest day of winter away, and as always, color on a paintbrush.
And how better to say Happy Birthday to your favorite girl than with bright, serotonin pumping colors? Yes, please.
Happy birthday to my girl, my very sweet 16 year old cousin who refuses to smile in front of her birthday cake, but always does so with her noble steed!
Happy weekend everyone, no matter what the color palette of your sky!
